Ok .. I'm one cranky indivdual. I think I might be more successful getting a job at the Gap than getting promoted in my company. It seems like my company keeps hiring from OUTSIDE the company rather than promoting from within.

Day Off today ..

I should be strapping my water heater for the walk-through... but I just needed to have a veg day. Funny though, I didn't veg ... stopped by work to tie up some loose ends...got a bit wrapped up with things ... and then headed down to Cupertino to keep my face in the loop with certain people. Those people weren't around .. so I staying to participate in one of the corporate mixers.

I wish I had a teleporter ... I don't like the long drive back after having some suds.

The papers have been signed to put the house on the market. I've got a good lead on an apt for Maddie and me....and this is Sammy's last week. Gonna miss the furry little guy.

Apt Hunt ...

Well.. today I spent some time looking for a new home for the KJB and the Maddie. I found an interesting little place from craigslist. It's very cool .. nice backyard .. but just a little 'spensive. Trying to get excited about moving is really hard. Trying to get excited about spending more money on "rent" is harder still.

...just feeling a bit blue about the whole thing.
