Well.. I made it safely.

.... kinda slept on the plane. I don't know if you could really call it restful ... I got "bumped" up to the exit row for leg room. However the exit row has the armrests that don't flip up. One step forward, one step back. The nice thing was that I didn't have any company so I was able to have the window seat with the benefits of an aisle seat.

... in the Chestnut Hill Apple Store right now... OK.. I'm a geek...but it's good to see a store run from a different perspective.

Gonna look for some food and then head to the Cape.

The car rental went very smoothly .. and the car might even be cheaper than first expected.

Ok… eTickets are Good. I’m not sure how I reached the tender old age of 41 without using them before .. but I would have to say that after I walked past the throng of folks tonight in the American Airlines line only to walk up to an eticket kiosk and moments after swiping my plastic through the awaiting receptical … I was able to walk away with my boarding pass tightly grasped in my sweaty palm.

Verrrrry nice.

The downside was that my flight was delayed two hours. Even though I checked the departure time 20 minutes before Diane picked me up… the flight was so kindly delayed from its 10:05 departure to a new 11:55 take off. It’s in these moments that I wish I had checked all my luggage.

So SFO clames that this it the oly Norcal airport with tmobile …
It’s a conspiracy theory in the making .. the signal vacillates from a full signal to nothing .. flip.. flop.. flip .. flop..

Hmmm.. mebbe I can nap by the gate? …
I really can’t abide a six dollar pint of my favorite Sierra Nevada. I know it’s my vacation .. but heck… 12 bucks for two drafts? I might as well buy two gallons of gas.

Vacation starts with a little paint job.

Ok... rented another storage space ... picked up some fencing materials. Picked up a bag of SF Chocolate for gifts to go with the Plum Jam. I have to charge my tech batteries [camera, phone, computer] Return the DVD's ... rent a car... back some boxes and sip a nice brew before I head back to the East Coast. Whew... going to try to photoblog this whole trip. Keep an eye out!

The Vacation Begins

...sooo.. part of me wants to stay and pack up.

1) tomorrow ... pack .. box .. pack..
2) decide if I'm going to rent a car.
3) figure out if I stay in P-town for a night.
